The second edition of ZEN League returns with ~$23,800 USD on offer for the Asia-Pacific region, ESL Australia has announced.
Season 1 witnessed Recca with Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand emerge as champions following their victory against Keun-Chul "solo" Kang's MVP PK in the grand final. Both teams will return for the second season alongside four other invited teams: The MongolZ, Chiefs, Grayhound, and Athletico.
In addition, the league has increased their slots, featuring twelve teams instead of eight in the initial season. Season 2 will kick off with five weeks of online action from September 12 to October 12.
The teams in their respective groups will compete against each other in a best-of-two, round-robin format, with the top teams from Asia and Oceania progressing on to the LAN Finals. The remaining six spots will be determined via closed qualifiers, which will be revealed soon.
